| Why am I not receiving messages? | ||
Updated: April 12th 2008 As many of you know Verizon phones have had complications receiving downloads. We believe the issue is caused due to your phone being outside a Verizon EVDO network. Here is how to check if you are TRUELY in a Verizon network:
*Options may vary per phone. If your phone loses service this means you are on another carriers tower and cannot receive downloads. If your phone REGAINS service under "Home Only" resend your download and it should come thru. Remember to switch back to the original setting later or you may not have coverage outside the Verizon home network. Another solution: Update your phones PRL. Dial *228,9,9 and your phone will update Preferred Roaming List. (List of towers to use). If the above fail try this: Recently Verizon has implemented new picture messaging rules. These new rules have cause bugs with downloading items to your phone. While this isn't something DDNMobile can fix, we have discovered a few things you can do to possibly fix the issue.
